제목 | Analysisof electrical characteristics of carbon anode material prepared by petroleum-basedpitch with PET added |
초록 | In this study, PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) was added to PFO (pyrolysis fuel oil) to improve the capacity of lithium ion batteries. PFO was synthesized from petroleum pitch, and PET was added in a weight ratio of 5 wt%. In order to manufacture the synthesized pitch as a carbon anode, heat treatment was performed at 1000-2400 ℃. The synthesized pitch was subjected to softening point, elemental, surface chemical and thermogravimetric analysis. The addition of PET provides oxygen in the pitch synthesis process, and the polycondensation reaction is promoted by cross-linking of the oxygen. In addition, XRD analysis was performed to investigate changes in the crystal structure of the carbon anode. Although the crystal structure improved according to the heat treatment temperature, there was no change in the crystal structure due to the addition of PET. However, the PET-added carbon anode has improved the battery capacity, because the oxygen can create a cavity to store lithium ions. |
