제목 Multiple Quantum dots Embedded Nanostructure for High Sensitive Detection Platform
초록 In this study, we prepared simple, high sensitive and broad dynamic detection system based on quantum dots (QDs) embedded silica nanoparticles (QD2) and magnetic bead assembled immuno-complex is presented. The QD2s, which consists of multiple QDs, showed a 1,000 times stronger photo-luminescence (PL) than normal QDs and also modified ligand easily on their surface. As a model study based on biotin-streptavidin interaction, streptavidin can be detected in the range of 100 zM to 1 uM. When the system was applied to avian virus (H1N1 influenza virus) detection, 32 x 10-5 hemagglutination unit (HAU) to 3.2 HAU can be detected by system. This result is 520 times more sensitive than hemagglutination method and comparable with PCR. Because our system could detect target sensitively without amplifying step, it have great potential to application at bio-chemical field.
