To date, the solar energy has considered as a promising alternative energy source to replace conventional fossil fuels because it is abundant, clean and sustainable. The solar energy can be converted into electrical energy by solar cells. However, the solar cells generate the electricity only in daytime so as to utilize the solar energy all day from the solar cells, the solar energy should be converted into other energy forms such as chemical energy. To convert the solar energy into more useful chemical energy such as hydrogen, methanol and formic acid, high potential energy is required. Therefore, it is challenging to fabricate single junction solar cells with high open circuit voltage. Here we fabricated the planar CH3NH3PbBr3 perovskite hybrid solar cells with > 1.5 V of open circuit voltage by spin coating process. By controlling the crystallization process of CH3NH3PbBr3 perovskite, we could form pin-hole free CH3NH3PbBr3 perovskite thin film on FTO/bl-TiO2 substrate. |
