The effect of carbonization temperature on structural change of pitch-based carbon fibers. |
초록 |
Mesophase pitch fibers were stabilized and carbonized for preparing carbon fibers. This paper reports the effect of carbonization temperature on structural change of pitch-based carbon fibers. To optimize the temperature during the stabilization process, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) was conducted. Stabilized fibers were carbonized at 400-1200℃ in a furnace under a nitrogen atmosphere. Chemical structure, crystalline structure, morphology and volatile byproducts of pitch-based carbon fibers depending on heating temperature were investigated by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), raman spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and mass spectrometry, respectively. |
