With the recent trend of developing more sustainable processes,enterprise-wide optimization(EWO) to achieve the optimal integration of the operations of supply, manufacturing and distribution activities is a new emerging area that lies at the interface ofPSE.In this paper, we focus on planning and schedulingbasic building blocks in EWO with respect to short-term scheduling of batch processes. |
