Recently, carbon quantum dots (CQDs) as a fluorescent 0D carbon-based nanomaterial showing the fascinating optoelectrical properties and intrinsic non-toxicity to human bodies and environments have been triggered great research interests. Among the various synthetic protocols in order to synthesize highly fluorescent CQDs from numerous starting materials, microwave-assisted bottom-up synthesis of CQDs is very effective because diverse natural or synthetic ABx (x≥2) or Ax/By (x and y≥2, x or y≥3) polyamidation monomer sets (A: -COOH, B: -NH2) could be exploited for the synthesis of functional CQDs with precise control of their surface functionalities and high optoelectrical performance. Through this recent advance, CQDs would be increasingly rivaling with the inorganic QDs in the near future applications. 2019년 한국교통대의 지원을 받아 수행하였음. |
