제목 Synthesis of a Nanoterminated Rotaxane Based on Polyazomethine
초록 Polyazomethines with aromatic backbones are attractive conducting polymers, exhibiting good thermal stability, fiber-forming, liquid crystalline, electronic, optoelectronic and non-linear optical properties. We have utilized a novel technique for the polycondensation of polyazomethines and obtained highly soluble, fully conjugated, and high-molecular mass polyazomethines. Essential in attaining these salient properties was the use of [60]fullerene as a nanosized stopper to prevent dethreading. The products were characterized by SEC-LS, 1H-NMR, UV-Vis, and FTIR spectroscopy as well as by cyclic voltammetry and TGA studies.
