The synthesis and the physical properties of polycarbodiimides |

Polycarbodiimides are polymers containing ( N=C=N ) group. The discovery of catalytic methods for the preparation of carbodiimides from the isocyanates, polycarbodiimids have been increasingly studied and used. Polycarbodiimids have been used in crosslinker of polymeric materials, insulators and heat-resistant plastics, adhesives, or stabilizer of polymers. Various applications of polycarbodiimides can be due to various availableisocyanate materials. In this studies, we investigated the synthesis and the physical properties of polycarbodiimides from various isocyanates. |
