제목 Synthesis of polycarboxylic acid via ATRP
초록 Novel resin modified glass ionomer cements(RMGICs) were fabricated by the successful polymerization of polycarboxylic acid such as polyacrylic acid or poly(itaconic acids) either directly via atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP) technique or through protecting/deprotecting method with tert-butyl acrylate followed by the tethering of methacrylate functionality onto polycarboxylic acid backbone, finally formulated RMGICs with light curable glass fillers. The prepared RMGICs were characterized and used to evaluate their mechanical properties such as compressive strength and shrinkage.
