제목 Fluorination effect of carbonized resorcinol – formaldehyde polymer electrodes for electric double layer capacitor
초록 The carbonized resorcinol-formaldehyde (RF) polymer was fluorinated for use as an electrode material in an electric double-layer capacitor (EDLC). The RF polymer was prepared from resorcinol and formaldehyde monomers in a slight basic Na2CO3 aqueous solution. It was then carbonized in N2 atmosphere at 1050 ℃ for 1 h. The carbonized RF polymer was fluorinated as various F2 gas mole fractions at room temperature. It was confirmed by SEM images that particle size could be changed through the carbonization and fluorination. Textural and electrochemical properties of fluorinated RF polymers were also evaluated by BET and Cyclic voltammetry (CV). The CV of fluorinated carbonized RF polymer based-electrodes was performed in a potential range of 0 – 1 V at different scan rates of 5 and 50 mV/s in 1 M H2SO4 electrolyte.
