제목 | P(VDF-TrFE)/Ag nano-composite capacitive film fabrication by E-field assisted dip coating method |
초록 | Polymer based composite materials are getting attentions in capacitor technologies, based on their improved dielectric properties with high breakdown resistance under strong electric fields. Recently, there has been extensive research on polymer-based composites with high dielectric constants. In addition, a proper understanding of nano-composites with conductive fillers is essential for the developments of composites with a high capacitance. In this work, 0-3 nano-composite dielectric films consisting Ag nanoparticles embedded in the ferroelectric poly(vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene)[P(VDF-TrFE)] copolymer matrix were fabricated by E-field assisted dip coating method to acquire nano-sized metal particles and a better homogeneity of filler dispersion into the polymer matrix. Experimental results showed that the dielectric constant of polymer/metal nano-composite films can reach 20, which is approximately double the reported dielectric constant of P(VDF-TrFE) matrix. Energy density during charging-discharging cycle at 1500 kV/cm was as high as 1.5 J/cm3. The P(VDF-TrFE)/Ag nano-composite films have a potential to become electrical applications due to the easy processing, flexibility and enhanced dielectric behavior. |
