제목 Self-organized polymeric electrodes to improve the charge injection contact in organic thin film transistors
초록 The mobility of organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) typically suffers from large contact resistance. To improve contact properties between organic semiconductors and metal electrodes, we modified the drain and source contacts using self-organized conductive polymer layers with work function tunability. In addition, we formed patterned conducting polymer electrodes on glass or plastic substrates by using selective wetting on various substrates. As a result, we achieved remarkably improved field-effect mobilities in bottom contact OTFTs compared with conventional Au electrodes and conventional conducting polymers. Furthermore, we discussed the stability of the OTFT devices using our polymeric electrodes
