Swollen PDMS Mold-assisted Fabrication of 3D Microparticles |
초록 |
We present a novel method for synthesizing 3D polymeric microparticles using swollen mold geometry. We produced 3D shaped microparticles by varying the used fluids that have different swelling properties to the PDMS mold. We also changed the geometry of 2D mold, and obtained the microparticles with higher order of complexity. We further produced the compartmentalized microparticles consist of different chemical species with different fluorescence dyes to demonstrates the capability to give multicompartment to the single particles. The proposed micromolding system will be useful for drug delivery, tissue engineering and we expect this system has enormous potential for various field. |
