Characteristic Analysis and Release Behavior of Ropinirole-Loaded Polyoxalate Microsphere |

RopiniroleHCl (RPN) is used in the treatment of Parkinsons's disease, Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) and so on. RPN-loaded Polyoxalate (POX) microspheres were prepared by W1/O/W2 solvent evaporation methods for sustained release. This study investigates the release behavior according to the preparation conditions of microspheres. RPN-loaded POX microspheres prepared by W1/O/W2 solvent evaporation method have smooth surfaces. The microsphere was characterized on the surface, the RPN release behavior for 15 days by SEM and HPLC. Crystallization was analyzed by using XRD, DSC and FT-IR. The results showed that the drug release behaviors from RPN loaded microsphere can be controlled by various preparation conditions. As a result, there is no large influence by changing control in EE. Also, the size of microsphere become bigger as become smaller volume, concentration of PVA. This work was supported by the Brain Korea 21 PLUS Project. |
