Ionic liquid (IL) resins were prepared by immobilizing functionalized IL on chloromethyl polystyrene resin. As the counter anion IL was changed, the properties of IL resins were dramatically changed. Especially, TFSI or OTf anion gave better compatibility in various solvents than other anions and good coupling kinetics at first amino acid coupling reaction. Based on these results, we synthesized peptides with difficult sequence IL resins using Fmoc/tBu strategy. The results of peptide synthesis provided detailed information for the evaluation of each IL resin for solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS). |
