Synthesis of macroporous polymer beads for recovery of VOCs using microwave-assisted desorption |
| 초록 |
In this study, macroporous polymer beads containing various contents of polar groups were synthesized and characterized for application in the VOCs recovery system. The polymer beads were synthesized by suspension polymerization in the presence of pore-forming agents. General physical properties of the beads were measured. The morphological features of the beads were evaluated by microscopic analysis. Adsorption behaviors of the beads toward various VOCs were studied at different experimental conditions. The microwave-assisted desorption of the VOCs from the polymer beads were also attempted at various conditions. |
