During the past decades, a wide range of studies have been demonstrated in a series of generating complex wrinkle structure. Complex surface topographies are useful in adjusting surface properties such as adhesion, optical properties, and mechanical characteristics. Although several methodologies for fabricating complex wrinkles have been demonstrated, most of them have a single or random orientation of wrinkle array on the surface. In this study, we demonstrate dual oriented wrinkle structures via controlling sequential strain and UVO processes with a porous template. With this approach, the wrinkle formed area is controllable and multi-oriented winkles are fabricated on the elastomer. This represents a versatile principle for fabricating highly ordered complex and multi-oriented wrinkles. |
