Removal properties of hydrogen fluoride (HF) on porous adsorbents including activated carbon, impregnated activated carbon, molecular sieve, silica gel and activated alumina was investigated. Adsorption equilibria of HF on porous sorbents were obtained from the column experiments. In addition, adsorption and desorption breakthrough curves were obtained under key operating conditions such as flow rate, concentration, temperature and column length. Results showed that activated alumina can be successfully applied for the removal of HF. |
