ZnSe is environmentally friendly and has a high theoretical capacity, so it is considered as a promising anode material for potassium ion batteries. However, due to the serious volume change during the charge/discharge process, rational structure design is required. In this study, ZIF-8, which acts as a template for porous structure and a precursor of ZnSe, are electrospun with PAN and then heat-treated to form a 1-dimensional composite of ZnSe and N-doped carbon fiber(ZnSe@PCNF). The 1-dimensional structure provides more active sites for storing potassium ions, shortens the ion diffusion pathway, and is structurally stable. In addition, the carbon frame can buffer the volume expansion of ZnSe during charge and discharge to greatly improve cycle stability, and the porous structure provides a sufficient contact area between the active material and the electrolyte to facilitate ion transport. Due to these advantages, ZnSe@PCNF shows excellent electrochemical performance. |
