제목 Nitric oxide gas sensing of porous carbon fibers prepared from Magnesium oxide as a pore forming agent
초록 In this study, porous carbon fibers (PCFs) were prepared from the polyacrylonitrile/pitch and Magnesium oxide (MgO) as a pore forming agent mixture solution through an electrospinning process. The increase of MgO contents brought out the improved porous structure with increasing the specific surface area. The gas sensing electrodes were prepared by using resultant PCFs. The gas sensing ability and response time of electrodes were improved by the increased specific surface area and micropore fraction. In conclusion, a nitric oxide sensing performance of PCFs was improved by activation process using MgO as a pore forming agent.
