Effects of pore structure on electrochemical behaviors of polymer-based activated porous hard carbon by steam activation |

In This work, activated porous hard carbon (APH) electrodes with high double layer capacitance and good rate capability were prepared from polymer by optimizing the carbonization temperature prior to steam activation. The surface morphologies and structural characteristics of APHs were investigated by SEM and XRD, respectively. Textural properties of the APHs prepared were investigated by N2/77K adsorption isotherms. It was also observed that various pore size distribution were found to be depended on the functions of carbonization temperature. The carbonization temperature has a marked effect on both the pore structure, and the electrochemical performances of the APHs. |
