제목 TEM Microstructure Investigation of In-situ Synthesized TCP-ZrO2 Composites for Artificial Hard Tissue
초록 Detailed TEM microstructure characterization was investigated for the in-situ synthesized TCP/ZrO2 composites. The composites powders were synthesized by the sol-gel process coupled with microwave hydrothermal method. Dense composites were prepared by powder compaction and then subsequently pressure-less and microwave sintering process, separately. The sintering temperatures for the pressure-less sintering were 1300 °C and 1400 °C for 2 hours. Microwave sintering was performed for the similar temperature but with 20 minutes of duration. Detailed microstructural characterization and phase analysis was done by SEM and TEM techniques. Interfacial interaction between the TCP and ZrO2 particles were investigated by TEM technique.
