제목 | Oxidation to remove carbon residue in waste plastic pyrolysis oil |
초록 | Various social and environmental problems have been issued by waste plastic. However, the use of plastics has increased due to COVID-19. Therefore, research on chemical recycling of waste plastics is active. As one of chemical recycling, it aims to develop a technology for producing naphtha raw materials after upgrading waste plastic pyrolysis oil. Upgrading is divided into physical and chemical pretreatments. As one of the physical pretreatments, the carbon residue in the pyrolysis oil is removed. Carbon residue causes fouling, which degrades production efficiency and increases operation cost. The strategy is to increase the hydrophilic group in the carbon residue via oxidation. The more hydrophilic carbon residue aggregate and form precipitate which is easily removed. Finally the upgraded pyrolysis oil will be recycled as a raw material for naphtha, aiming to produce high value-added chemical raw materials. This research was supported by the KEIT (No. 20015430) |
