There are ultraviolet rays that affect plastics and rubber among the various wavelengths of light, and UV absorbers are used to protect against these effects. This study deals with cyanoacrylate UV absorbers and basically removes ammonia from the process to practice eco-friendly process. In order to compare and analyze the electron donor substituents and the electron withdrawing substituents, the fluorine derivatives having the best physical properties were synthesized and analyzed. Since toluene was not used during the whole synthesis process, it was environmentally friendly. The process conditions (temperature, catalyst, solvent) of each synthesis method were changed to optimize the process to obtain high yields. As a results P-H was achieved UV absorbance of 77.6% in 317nm, color of solution of 97.5% in 460nm and 99.5% in 500nm, and heat stability of 93.5%. |
