제목 Simulation study of a drum-boiler in circulating fluidized bed combustor
초록 A dynamic simulation of boiler system in circulating fluidized bed combustor (CFBC) has been carried out based on the integration of IEA-CFBC model and drum-boiler model. Case studies are applied to 200MW Tonghae thermal power plant. The IEA-CFBC model is a mathematical model for the atmospheric circulating fluidized bed coal combustor developed by International Energy Agency (IEA). This model is able to describe the overall process phenomena in a CFBC. In this study a nonlinear dynamic model of the drum-boiler considering the natural circulation of the water-steam flow in the drum, down-comer, and riser components is developed. Heat provided to the boiler system can be calculated from the coal combustion using IEA-CFBC model. The IEA-CFBC/drum-boiler model proposed in this work can be applied to process parameter study of a CFBC boiler system in a thermal power plant. Based on the data collected from Tonghae CFB boiler, simulation results obtained from the proposed dynamic model at various operating conditions are discussed and analyzed.
