In our study, we applied the proton implantation to property enhancement of the DMFC electrodes with highly-accelerated proton beams. We prepared and analyzed nanostructure Pt/graphene according to 20MeV, 1013~1014proton/cm2 irradiation dose. Subsequently, we identified the superior properties for DMFC catalyst support by the electrochemical characterizations of surface modification of proton beam irradiated graphene materials. Electrochemical activity of the samples was inspected by CV using a potentiostat / galvanostat (IviumStat, Netherlands) by three-electrode cell measurements. Also, the remarkable properties of proton irradiated Pt/graphene composite were demonstrated by FE-SEM, and FT-IR. |
