In this work, we report a high-performance electrochemical capacitor based on a microporous carbon (MPC) film, which was fabricated using COF-derived carbon nanoparticles and conducting polymer polypyrrole (Ppy). Schiff-based network-1 (SNW-1) nanoparticles were synthesized via a condensation reaction, and the MPC film was prepared by a screen-printing method without any additives or binders. The MPC film showed a large surface area and good electrolyte infiltration, which was attributed to the bimodal porous structure with micropores and macropores. In addition, Ppy was electrochemically polymerized onto the MPC film with varying reaction times. The specific capacitance was further improved up to 2.55 F cm-2 due to the synergetic effect of pseudocapacitance and reduced resistance. |
