High Performing Tin oxide/Nitrogen Doped Graphene Quantum Dots Composite Nanotubes for Supercapacitor Applications |

Tin dioxide (SnO2) nanostructured materials are most suitable pseudocapacitive electrode materials for supercapacitor applications. Their pseudocapacitive performance is highly determined by the morphology and electrochemical active sites. Nitrogen doped graphene quantum dot (NGQDs) and SnO2 nanotubes composite (SNG) were fabricated by electrospinning method to enhance the morphology and surface active sites. The SNGs were prepared by mixing different ratios of tin chloride and NGQDs in polyacrylonitrile solution through electrospinning method. SNG composite films were calcined and used as electrodes. EIS, CV, and GCD are used for the electrochemical measurements of SNG electrodes. The SNG electrodes with optimum NGQDs showed an excellent specific capacitance retention and durability for prolonged cycles. |
