제목 | Preparation and Electrochemical Activity of Pt nanocatalysts using dopamine functionalized graphene supports for direct methanol fuel cells |
초록 | Graphene or Graphene oxide (GO) have given rise to intense interest with advaced materials due to its excellent physical and electronic properties. A recent study has shown that the noncovalent functionalization between graphene oxide and aromatic molecules plays an important role in improving electronic properties of Graphene. Especially, dopamine (DA), 3,4-dihydroxy-L-phenylalanine, is interesting for its strong interaction with metal oxides and GO. In this work, the DA coated on reduced GO nanocomposite (DA-RGO) was synthesized via aqueous solution process. Then, Pt nanoparticles were deposited on the surface of the resultant DA-RGO via polyol process. As a result, the Pt/DA-RGO nanocatalysts show a narrow Pt particle size distribution and improved catalytic performance. |
