Janus particles have been investigated as attractive building blocks for self-assembly with desirable architectures. Here we report Tunable assembly and fabrication of anisotropic, biocompatible, PEG-based Janus particles prepared by the replications in non-wetting templates and deposition of superparamagnetic materials (Pt, Au, Ni, Fe, etc.). In this process, we employed particle replications in non-wetting templates. In addition, we deposited superparamagnetic materials on exposure surface, allowing to various structural features of asymmetric microparticles with different anisotropies in the horizontal and vertical axes. Using the free asymmetric microparticles the tunable assembly can be generated with different magnetic properties for aligned linearly along the external magnetic fields, which can lead to develop the potential application of In vivo structure-controllable 3D scaffold in tissue engineering. |
