제목 Pore and Framework Structure Modification of Mesoporous Carbon Materials
초록 Recently, new series of ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC) materials have been synthesized via nano-replication technique using various mesoporous silica hard templates. Compared with the typical porous carbon materials, the OMCs are appropriate as supports for nano-structure materials due to their good electrical conductivity, high surface area, and high pore volume. To investigate the effect of porous carbon materials, we controlled property changes of OMCs.
First, we synthesized metal loaded OMCs(Pt, Au-OMCs). We expected metal nano-particle can provide efficient confinement to trap the dissolvable polysulfide, diminishing the negative shuttle effect during cycling.  
Second, we synthesized heteroatoms (boron and nitrogen) co-doped OMCs (B,N-OMCs). Heteroatom doping is necessary to enhance specific capacitance and conductivity. These co-doped materials were expected higher specific electro-catalysis than that of un-doped OMCs.
The materials were characterized by N2 adsorption/desorption, electron microscopy (EM). Additionally, electrochemical investigation was performed.
