Pyrolysis characteristics and fast pyrolysis of Milkweed was carried out in a thermogravimetric analyzer. The range of apparent activation energies of Milkweed was between 70.22 kJ/mol and 752.35 kJ/mon in nitrogen atmosphere for conversion between 5% and 90%. Experiments were carried out in the tubing reactor at a temperature of 330 ~ 370 ℃ and reaction times of 1 ~ 7 minutes. A lump model of combined series and parallel reactions for bio-oil and gas formation is proposed. Conversion data fitted first order kinetics for gas, bio-oil and Milkweed (char). The kinetic parameters were determined by nonlinear least-squares regression of the experimental data. The is the ratio for (Milkweed) to (C1~C4) per (Milkweed) to (bio-oil), and those of values at 330 ℃, 350 ℃ and 370 ℃ were 3.37, 2.61 nd 1.98, respectively, however, the predominant reaction pathway was A (Milkweed) to (bio-oil) formation rather than to (C1~C4) formation at a temperature of 330 ~ 370 ℃. |
