제목 Synthesis and Characterizations of a Small Molecule Containing Quadruple Hydrogen Bonds for Organic Solar Cells
초록 Compared to conjugated polymers, conjugated small molecules have some synthetic advantages such as good reproducibility and easier purification. However, the low viscosity in solution causes the poor film quality. For this reason, the low device performance comes from limited interconnectivity between the small molecules. To overcome these disadvantages of conjugated small molecules, a functional group which can construct strong hydrogen bonding arrays is introduced for improvement of intermolecular interaction. Utilizing this functional group is expected to contribute well-defined nano morphology and efficient charge transport. In this study, we synthesized a conjugated small molecule containing Ureido-4-[1H]-pyrimidinone (UPy) as a quadruple hydrogen bonding group. 1H-NMR, UV-vis spectroscopy, XRD and CV were used in order to characterize the molecular structure and electrochemical properties.
