Colloidal quantum dots (CQDs) have been considered as promising semiconducting materials for various optoelectronic applications owing to thier unique characteristics including size-tunable optical and electrical properties, solution processibility. An intensive effort to improve performance of CQD solar cells has led to certified device efficiencies over 12%. However, several remained issues in this field including low open-circuit voltage, lack of interfacial materials for infrared CQD solar cells, and device stability should be improved further. In this presentation, I’ll introduce several recent advanced strategies to address these issues, and discuss next direction for CQD solar cells. |
