Light detectable quantum-dot light emitting diodes with a V2O5 hole injection layer |
초록 |
Dual-functional quantum dot light emitting diodes (QLEDs) have been fabricated via controlling a vanadium oxide (V2O5) inorganic hole injection layer (HIL), which can be operated as selectable functional diodes with emission and visible-light detection. QLEDs emitted green light with a peak wavelength of 520 nm, which can achieve a maximum luminance of 31,668 cd/m2. When QLEDs operates in reverse bias, it becomes a photodetector. An increase of photocurrent was observed during the illumination of the light over 520nm wavelength. We used X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS) to analyze the interfacial electronic structure of the device according to the V2O5 concentration. We observed a change of the gap state in V2O5. In conclusion, we optimized dual functional diodes and demonstrated application in visible light communication. |
