제목 Synthesis and Characterization of small molecular dyes based on IDTT in Organic solar cells
초록 ​We have successfully synthesized and characterized two new small molecule dyes for the donor material, which are containing indacedithieno[3,2- b]thiophene (IDTT) as the donor moiety, phenylisoxazolone (OX) and malononitrile derivatives (EPMP-IDC) as the acceptor. The optical band gap of IDTT-OX is 1.88 eV and it exhibits strong self-aggregation behavior. IDTT-EPMP-IDC exhibits different behaviors, however, the self-aggregation of IDTT-EPMP is effectively inhibited by the presence of an alkyl group in the EPMP-IDC functional group, and it has a bandgap of 1.60 eV. Using a blend of IDTT-OX (or IDTT-EPMP-IDC) as a donor and PC71BM as an acceptor, inverted-type OSCs are fabricated. The device performance of the optimized OSCs is reached up to 0.29% for IDTT-OX and 2.07% for IDTT-EPMP-IDC.​​
