In this study, The cation exchange membranes were synthesized by Co60 γ-ray radiation graft copolymerization. Homogeneous polyketone solution was prepared using the metal salt solvent. Degree of grafting was increased with increasing the total dose and sodium styrene sulfonate(SSS). The ion exchange capacity of polyketone-g-sodium styrene sulfonate(PK-g-SSS) membrane was confirmed by Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectrometer. The water uptake (W.U), ion exchange capacity (IEC) and electrical resistance (E.R) of the PK-g-SSS membranes were evaluated by gravimetric method, titration, and LCR mether, respectively. |
