This lecture will talk about (1) preparation of metallic nanoparticles as electron generation materials by radiolytic method and there application for fuel cell, and (2) preparation of the functionalized carbon nanotubes as electron transfer materials and there application for biosensor.(1) In order to use fuel cell catalyst, the Pt-Ru nanoparticle was deposited on to various conducting materials such as hollow capsule ball and the conducting polymer-coated MWNT.The prepared Pt-Ru catalysts were examined for CO and MeOH oxidation.(2) In order to obtain the enhanced electron transfer properties, the functional vinyl monomers were grafted onto surface of carbon nanotubes by radiation-induced polymerization.The obtained the functionalized carbon nanotubes were used on biosensor materials. |
