제목 | Physical properties of silicone hydrogel contact lens covered with a biocompatible and hydrophilic copolymer |
초록 | Water-soluble and biocompatible 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine (MPC) was incorporated on the surface of silicon hydrogel contact lenses to promote wearability. The bulk-polymerized silicon hydrogel lenses were exposed to O2 plasma to introduce peroxide groups on the surface of them, and they were added to an aqueous solution of hydroxyethyl acrylate (HEA) and MPC. Radical copolymerization of HEA and MPC was occurred on the surfaces of the lenses.
