제목 Development of porous filler loaded EVA for shielding radon using radiation technology​​
초록 Radon is a natural radioactive gas derived from geological substances, and it is present in many building materials. Therefore, people are easily exposed to radon in daily life. Radon is known to be a carcinogen that causes lung cancer because it can adversely bronchial cells and can affect human body even in small amounts. Therefore, radon flowing into the room should be fundamentally blocked. EVA emulsion is widely used as building material and adhesive agent due to its excellent water and chemical resistance. In particular, EVA has excellent compatibility with non-polar materials and filler loading properties as it is used as a radon shielding materials. In this study, we studied on the EVA material filled porous filler with excellent radon adsorption performance. In addition, heat resistance and mechanical properties of EVA materials for shielding radon could be improved using radiation crosslinking technology.​
