제목 A study of Nanosized TiO2 Coated Rayon Fiber
초록 TiO2 has been extensively studied as a photocatalyst in many fields because of its high photocatalytic activity, robust chemical stability, low production costs, and nontoxicity. Various materials with special structures such as oak, silk, sisal fibers, and filter paper have been used as templates to prepare photocatalytic materials. Rayon fibers with high photocatalytic function that could be obtained by adding photocatalytic titanium dioxide particles to the viscose raw material in the course of wet spinning have been previously reported. The mechanical properties of the TiO2 coated rayon fibers decreased with the increase of TiO2 content. Therefore, the development of rayon fibers with high photocatalytic function even with the addition of relatively small amounts of TiO2 is required. In this study, Nanosized TiO2 coated rayon fibers could be obtained using TiO2 coating agent. We studied photocatalytic activity of TiO2 coated rayon fibers.
