제목 High Performance Organic Light-Emitting Transistors
초록 Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) have been successfully commercialized especially in small sized mobile displays, and they are rapidly extending their fields to lightings, large area displays, and flexible applications. Organic light-emitting transistors (OLETs) are a promising cadidate for the future applications beyond OLEDs to achieve higher brightness and efficiency since OLETs are able to deliver a tremendous amount of charge carriers to the separated recombination zone far from the contacts. However, the state-of-the-art OLETs have rarely realized high opto-electrical performance due to the charge imbalance when driven at high bias, although they could push a large amount of currents by means of the gated bias. Here, we would like to discuss the merit of OLETs beyond OLEDs and how to realize high performance OLETs under balanced electron-hole currents.
