Carbon fiber recycling by 2 step (steam and air) Pyrolysis |
| 초록 |
In this work, composite waste composed of carbon fibers and epoxy resin has been pyrolysed by using steam and air at temperatures of 500℃ on different time. The recycled carbon fibers were characterized using a single fiber tensile test, scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, interface shear strength. The mechanical properties of the recycled carbon fiber were similarly observed with those as-received carbon fibers. Compared to as-received carbon fibers, the surface compositions of the recycled carbon fibers did not show significant changes, and the mechanical properties of the recycled carbon fibers were well retained. |
