제목 Evaluation of Interfacial Property for Carbon Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic Composites with Different Recycle Time
초록 Recycled carbon fiber (CF) reinforced polypropylene (PP) composites were fabricated, and the concentration of CF was 20%. Mechanical and interfacial properties of CF/PP was evaluation for different recycle times. Mechanical properties of CF/PP composites were evaluated by tensile, bending and Izod tests. Interfacial assessment of CF/PP composites was investigated by wettability test. Interfacial properties were different with different recycle times. Interfacial bonding was getting worse with longer recycle time. The reason is that the fiber and matrix was damaged by thermal treatment. The reinforced CF length was getting shorter than the original one as longer recycle time.
