Pseudo metal generation via a catalytic redox polymerization on the surface of nanocomposite for photothermal therapy |
초록 |
Photothermal therapy that employs optical absorbing agents under light irradiation has attracted significant attention in recent years as a promising alternative to traditional cancer therapies. One of the most promising approaches is utilizing pseudo metal such as polyaniline (PANI) because PANI converts absorbed energy into heat consistent with proton responsive conversion into an emeraldine salt form. Despite their widespread property, further optimization is still required for the development of more biocompatible and smarter nanomaterials. Herein, we fabricated a tailored PANI-coated iron oxide nanocluster (PAM) as photothermal agent via complementary oxidant system (COS) on the correlation between iron oxide nanoclusterand ammonium peroxydisulfate using a catalytic redox polymerization. We investigated its optical properties, biocompatibility and in vitro photothermal therapy effect. Combined together, PAM exhibits feasibility as a photothermal therapy agent in bio-application. |
