A study on the reduction characteristics of ceria-zirconia mixed oxides prepared by continuous hydrothermal synthesis in supercritical water |
초록 |
Highly crystalline nanoparticles of complex metal oxide as well as single metal oxide could be produced rapidly and continuously by continuous hydrothermal synthesis in supercritical water. Also the size and the morphology of metal oxide particles could be controlled easily by changing temperature and pressure of supercritical water. Ceria-zirconia mixed oxide is widely used as oxygen storage material in TWCs (three-way catalysts) for clean up of automotive gases. Ceria-zirconia mixed oxides of various Ce/Zr ratio were prepared by continuous hydrothermal synthesis in supercritical water. The physical properties (surface area and pore volume etc.) of prepared ceria-zirconia mixed oxides were measured by N2 adsorption at 77K and the redox properties were studied by TPR (temperature programmed reduction). So the reduction characteristics of prepared ceria-zirconia mixed oxides were estimated. |
