제목 Effect of benzyl headgroup-substituted CTAB-based surfactant on electrocatalytic dechlorination of allylchloride mediated by electrogenerated Co(I)(bipyridine) in aqueous media
초록 CTAB, which is considered as the representative cationic surfactant, has been used for the micellar enhancement of electrocatalytic mediated reductive dechlorination of several organic pollutants. In the present work a benzyl headgroup-bearing CTAB-based surfactant (cetylbenzyldimethylammonium chloride (CBDAC)) was studied for its structural effect on the dechlorination of allyl chloride (AC) by electrogenerated [Co(I)(bipyridine)3]+. The performance of CBDAC in mediation reaction has been compared with that of CTAB using cyclic voltammetry studies.
