초록 |
Digital image processing method for measuring residence time distribution in twin screw extrusion was developed and it was successfully applied in the extrusion of highly filled simulant materials. A simulant with a binder having high melt flow index(MFI) showed more plug flow behavior compared with that with low MFI binder. Dye concentration difference in the core and shell region of extrudate was observed for the simulant with high MFI binder and this was attributed to the dye particle migration during the extrusion. |
