제목 Control of Molecular Weight using the Reverse Iodine Transfer Polymerization (RITP) Technique Emulsion Polymerization with Changes of Temperature
초록 Poly-styrene(PS) particles having low molecular weight has been successfully performed using RITP(reversed iodine transfer polymerization)- emulsion polymerization method in various reaction temperature (50~80℃) and the molar ratio of initiator/iodine (3~4.5) under argon atmospheresfor 7 hr in the absence of light. The effects of reaction temperature and the molar ratio between initiator and iodine on the molecular weight of polystyrene were studied . The properties of Poly-styrene particles were investigated by means of SEM, particles size analyzer and GPC.
