Morphology, diffraction efficiency, and electro-optical properties of titanium dioxide nanoparticle doped holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystal (HPDLC) have been studied. Diffraction efficiency of HPDLC films has been decreased with the addition and increasing content (0.05, 0.1, 0.5 wt%) of titanium dioxide, together with the increased resin viscosity, by which rates of reaction and phase separation have been decreased. Rising time increased with increasing frequency due to the locally decreased internal electric field intensity across the LC region by the reduced dielectric constant of resin at 0.5wt% titanium dioxide. |
